Week 15, Post 1

My analytics for my Facebook page didn't have enough information available so I am happy to be provided analytics for Professor Faulk's business.  I am making the assumption it is for her brewery.  These analytics are for her Facebook business page from November 4th - December 2nd.

The number of people talking about the page has 60% men and 39% women engaged.  The highest number of people engaged by age group is wide spread amongst the ages from 25-54 with age group 25-34 being the highest at 16%, next age 35-44 at 15% and age 45-54 at 14%. Women between the ages of 45-54 are the highest group talking about the page.  I found it interesting to see that there is a fanbase in Havana, Cuba in the mix among more local cities and counties.

The majority of those talking about the page are from San Diego with San Diego, Vista and Oceanside being the highest number in that group.

When comparing the above with the number of people who had any content from the page enter their screen numbers shifted a bit.   The age group of both men and woman between the ages of 25-34 were the highest percentages at 22% and 12% respectively.  There was less of a balance between the other age groups.   It is interesting to note that with this analytic Oceanside has 1800 more people reached than Vista which is a flip from the previous statistic.

For the number of people who saw any of the posts at least once, there is another change.  The fan base of men versus woman increased by 5%.  Also, the highest percentage of age groups was in the 35-44 range at 23%.  For women, the amount was a bit more balanced between 25 - 34 and 35-44 although like the men, women 35-44 was also the highest group at 12%.  Los Angeles jumped up as having the higher number of fans right below San Diego, Oceanside and Vista even though the other surrounding cities that have lower numbers are much closer to the brewery.  Oceanside also jumped up over Vista.

Looking at the actions for the month of early November - early December, there are peaks on November 4, November 22nd and November 27th for reactions to the page.  Perhaps the latter peaks were due to posts over Thanksgiving week.  Comments also peaked on November 23rd with most of the comments in the month made during the Thanksgiving time period of November 16th - November 28th.  The majority of the shares were made during this period as well.

For post reach metrics, the highest point for paid reaches peaked on November 22nd at almost 3K.  The organic reaches were fairly steady throughout the month although dipped a bit on November 18th.  Aside from the peak of November 22nd for paid reaches, the two week period between November 12th - November 29th were very continual at around 2K reaches.

Those who recommended the page peaked on November 8th (6 recommendations), 12th (4), 16th (2), 20th (4), 22nd-24th (5), 26th (5) and finally the 30th (4).

The total number of followers at the end of the month were 11,896 with a spike being made on December 2nd.  There was a dip of net followers on November 14th & 15th losing 2 followers each day followed by a spike of 4 net followers on the 16th.

Finally, the total page likes were at 11,623 on December 2nd.  The net likes showed a fairly steady amount of 1 - 3 likes throughout the month with a steady run of 1 - 2 likes during November 16th - 26th.   There were 4 likes on November 16th and above 4 on December 1st.  The net unlikes were primarily found on November 14th -15th (-2 each day) and November 28 - December 1st (-1 each day).    Perhaps a strategy of paying to obtain likes were made after each of the dips.
